Part of UUCP’s income is earned through the sale of Shoprite cards.  For those of you who shop at Shoprite, if you buy a Shoprite card from the congregation, you spend the same amount as you would at the store. UUCP makes a commission of 5% on every card sold.  Shoprite cards are available for sale on Sunday mornings right after the service.

Shoprite cards are also a good way to donate to the Center For Food Action. On the first Sunday of each month, UUCP collects canned goods for the Center For Food Action.  If you do not have any extra canned goods, you can purchase a Shoprite card to give to the Center. They happily accept them in lieu of food as they can then purchase exactly what they need. This way both the Center For Food Action and UUCP win.
