With Freedom and Justice for All (A ONE SPIRIT IN ACTION PROGRAM)

Please join us tonight for Part 2 in its series to educate, engage, and empower “sacred activism” in civic participation to eradicate the destructive enterprise of mass imprisonment. Part 2 will feature experts within the prison reform movement: Tanya Krupat from the Osborne Society and Andre Ward, the Associate Vice President of Employment Services for the Fortune Society.

Attendees will explore the business side of the prison industrial complex, the relationship between mass incarceration and the history of American slavery, and the white supremacist structures and policies that support and maintain mass imprisonment.
What are the ways and opportunities for personal action in dismantling these structures and/or policies?
