Water has held a spiritual significance in every culture and represents spiritual life. And In our everyday lives
we cannot exist without it. Yet, over 1 billion people on our planet do not have access to clean water on a daily
basis. Climate change, war, and corporate privatization of the water supply are making water an even more scarce – and expensive – commodity. What is our relationship to water as individuals and as people of faith? What is our responsibility to the planet and those people and other beings who share our planet? How can we bring the spiritual life-giving meaning of water into practical stewardship and service in our daily lives? You are invited to consider those questions with us today and to join us in observing a reimagined celebration of our UU Water Communion.
