This week, millions of children will return to their classrooms along with millions of the women and men who have dedicated themselves to educating them. Did you have a favorite teacher when you were in school? Was there one who still has an impact on your life today? Today we’ll look at the lives of some famous teachers in our nation’s history and consider the vital role teachers still play in our society.
