Please join us for today’s service led by special guest speaker, Julio Perez and UUCP member, Judy Manton. Santeria, a union of Catholicism and the Yoruba religion of Nigeria was developed during the days of slavery in the Caribbean. Julio Perez and Judy Manton will present the essence of this religion and how it is practiced today, not only in the Caribbean, but also in New Jersey. Julio will speak as a practitioner and Judy, professor at Fairleigh Dickinson, will present Santeria from a cultural viewpoint. A colorful altar will enhance our meeting space.
We look forward to seeing you!
