Please join UUCP for today’s online service, “Meeting Life’s Challenges: A Unitarian Universalist’s Response” at 10:30 AM led by UUCP Co-President, Arlene Holpp Scala.
This service will include reflections on the many challenges that arise along life’s journey and our responses. Some people lose a partner/spouse, a child, other relatives, and friends. Most of us in this congregation have lost our parents. Divorce, financial losses, illness, and so much more are all too common as we travel on our life path. Our former minister, Paul Dodenhoff, used to say that we move along in life and then there is “Duhkha,” a Buddhist term for suffering, pain, or unhappiness. “Duhkha” is a given. The question is, “How do we respond?”
All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you.
