Please join us for today’s service led by Rev. Paul Dodenhoff. October 10th is still celebrated across most of the United States as Columbus Day. But many communities and states, and an increasing number of people have chosen instead to honor the indigenous people who inhabited the land long before white invaders including Columbus arrived and began the genocide of indigenous populations and destruction of their culture.
Join us today as we consider our nation’s continued oppression of our indigenous sisters and brothers, the growing movement to restore their dignity and their human rights, and the gifts of spirit that they still generously offer to the world.
Bring a friend and stay for coffee and light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you!
