Please join UUCP for today’s Zoom service, “Elizabeth Palmer Peabody: Her Remarkable Life And Work” at 10:30 AM led by Rev. Paul Dodenhoff.
UU minister Robert Fulghum famously wrote “all I really need to know I learned in kindergarten.” Like Fulghum, many of us have fond memories of that magical year we spent in kindergarten. We can thank our Unitarian ancestor Elizabeth Palmer Peabody for those memories and for opening the first English-language kindergarten in the United States.
Peabody was born on May 16th, 1804. Join us today as we take a look at the life and work of this remarkable person who has influenced countless lives throughout our nation’s history.
All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you!
