Join UUCP on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:00 PM for our “Artists on their Art” Series. We are pleased to have two very accomplished artists for our “Artists on Their Art” series: Donna Buono and Jackie Collier.

Donna Buono learned to sew as a child but only learned about quilting 20 years ago. All of her quilt pieces are from her own designs and color schemes.  Quilting is a hobby and she earns a living as a data analyst in cancer research.

Jackie Collier’s primary medium is watercolor and she would describe her style as impressionistic with a dreamlike softness.  As a lover of nature, she enjoys painting still life and landscape subjects.  She feels that she can best express herself through the use of watercolor and is especially delighted in seeing the translucent result when water and paint merge on paper.

There will be time after for questions, discussion and some refreshments. We look forward to seeing you!
