A French Country Dinner
Description: This is NOT the “haute cuisine” you’ll find in fancy French restaurants. It’s hearty, country fare that you’d find in French homes. We start with Choucroute — sauerkraut with ham, sausages, potatoes, and juniper berries. For those who have room left, we finish with a tarte tatin (an apple tart in which the fruit is caramelized in butter and sugar before the tart is baked.
