The auction is an annual event calling upon members, friends, businesses and the local community for support.

What is the Outreach Auction?

The Outreach Auction is dedicated to raising funds for six designated charities that meet and fulfill basic life needs. This weeklong virtual event features a silent auction and is sponsored by two Unitarian Universalist congregations in Bergen County: Central Unitarian Church and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palisades with 100% of the proceeds going to the selected charities. The charities are selected based on the impact they have on those in need in Bergen County, regardless of religious affiliation.

The auction raises money with bids from $10 to $1,000, demonstrating that when we work together, we are greater than the sum of our parts. Since 2000, this gala event has raised over $760,000 with 100% of the proceeds going to the designated charities!
