Please join UUCP for today’s online service, “Spirits and Shadows: A Journey Through Samhain, All Souls, and Halloween” with Rev. Sonia Ketchian at 10:30 a.m.
November 1 was traditionally the date that the Celts celebrated Samhain, a festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or “darker-half” of the year. During this time they believed the veil between life and death became thin, which was an opportunity to connect with those on the other side or maybe to avoid them! Join us this Sunday as we explore the spirits and shadows of Samhain, All Souls, and of course, Halloween!
