As a democratically run organization, the Issues Conference is where we discuss, strategize, and set priorities for the year to come: it is the heart of our ministry together. I hope you will join us—Please register today to let us know if you can attend.

Our 2021 Fall Issues Conference will convene

Saturday, October 16

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

via Zoom.

Our informal coffee hour will open at 9:00 AM.

Our 2021 Issues Conference will include:

  • Worship
  • Keynote address by retiring Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg
  • Presentation by FAIR (Youth Caucus) on anti-racism education in schools
  • Break out groups for every Task Force
  • Criminal Justice Reform
  • Environmental Justice
  • Gun Violence Prevention
  • Immigration Justice
  • Reparations
  • Reproductive Justice
  • FAIR (Youth Caucus)

Registration is free and open to all New Jersey Unitarian Universalists and friends of UU FaithAction NJ. Youth are encouraged to attend, and FAIR Youth Co-Leaders extend a special welcome to high-school-aged youth to meet them in the FAIR break out group.

We need you! We need UUs and our allies from across the state to gather to collaborate, strategize, and prepare. We need folks from every NJ UU congregation to come, to hear about the issues, to identify how to make an impact, and to bring that knowledge home to their congregations.

In faith, with love, and for justice,

Charles Loflin
