Urgent! ATF Ghost Gun Comment Period

The ATF is proposing a rule change around the definition of a firearm. This change has the potential to effectively close the loophole that allows the sale of gun kits that are easily assembled into an unserialized, untraceable, and completely unregulated gun. Simply put, we’re talking about DIY guns for anyone — no background check required.

We urgently need you, and your chapter’s help, to push for a new federal protocol to redefine what constitutes a “firearm” Please follow the instructions below to submit your comment supporting a ban on Ghost Guns. The deadline for comments is August 19, however gun extremists are commenting at a rate of 30 for each of our common sense comments. So please help us chip away at their lead by submitting your own comment and asking your network to do the same.

In order to leave a comment follow these steps:

  1. Go to this link: https://www.bradyunited.org/act/regulate-ghost-guns. Near the bottom of the page are 4 comment options; select one, or if you prefer come up with your own personalized comment

  4. After inputting the comment, enter your email address (personal not Brady affiliated) then please select that you are sharing your comment as an Individual.
