In honor of the first day of Diwali – when celebrants typically clean and decorate their homes – join us to learn practical, easy-to-follow tips on downsizing and decluttering.

Rangoli Art Demonstration

Artist, Ritu Pandya, will walk through an intro to Rangoli art, its history & significance in the Diwali festival. Ritu will lead participants through a hands-on demonstration on how to draw basic Rangoli patterns using paper & pencil.

Cooking Class: Healthy Twist on Diwali Favorites

Chef Neelma Patel will walk you through a recipe of some favorite Diwali sweets and snacks – with a healthy twist. Then, you’ll hear from Rachna Singh, a registered dietitian, on how to incorporate healthy ingredients into your meals.

Yoga and Mental Resiliency

Bollywood Zumba

Zumba Gold is a low-impact, modified version of the popular, Zumba dance workout. For this virtual class, we’ll focus on Bollywood Zumba! The moves are broken down in a slow and manageable manner, and choreography focuses on improving range of motion, coordination and balance.
